Mature projects often require sourcing components from reputable “Open Market” sources for “End of life” and obsolete items necessary to complete an assembly. It is paramount that the components sourced in this manner are properly vetted by trained Component inspectors with the right equipment and inspection protocols. Our in-house lab consists of IDEA-STD-101B Counterfeit Detection and Avoidance trained inspectors using X-Ray, XRF, Acid Etch De-encapsulation and High Power Microscopy to accomplish Die validation and component validity.
